The Indian Navy has officially opened applications for its prestigious 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme for the January 2027 batch. This is one of the most coveted pathways for science students to earn a fully-funded B.Tech degree while serving as an officer in the Indian Navy.
If you've aced your 10+2 with PCM and appeared in JEE Main 2026, this is your chance to combine engineering excellence with a life of honour, adventure, and national service. This scheme is open to male candidates who wish to pursue a career as a commissioned officer in the Executive or Technical branch of the Indian Navy.

Who Can Apply?
Check each criterion carefully before filling your form.
- Age:You must be born between2nd July 2007 and 1st January 2010(both dates inclusive). Age relaxation will be given as per Indian Navy rules.
- Education (Academic Score):Must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of70% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM)combined.
- English Requirement:Minimum50% marks in Englishin either Class 10 or Class 12.
- JEE Main 2026:Must have appeared in JEE (Main) 2026 with a validAll India Common Rank List (CRL)rank. This is mandatory.
- Nationality:Indian citizens only. Male candidates as per Indian Navy regulations.
- Physical Standards:Must meet Indian Navy physical and medical fitness standards as defined in the official notification.
Selection Process

JEE (Main) 2026 CRL Rank
Candidates are shortlisted based on their All India Common Rank List (CRL) from JEE Main 2026. A strong rank significantly improves your chances.
SSB Interview
Services Selection Board (SSB) interview tests your intelligence, personality, and officer-like qualities over multiple days. This is the heart of the selection.
Medical Examination
Shortlisted SSB candidates undergo a thorough medical examination as per Indian Navy physical standards.
Merit List & Final Joining
Final merit list is prepared combining JEE rank, SSB performance, and medical fitness. Selected candidates join the January 2027 batch.

- Read the official notification PDF carefully, especially regarding age limit, eligibility, and documents required.
- Register yourself and fill in the online application form with your personal, academic, and JEE Main 2026 details.
- Upload required documents — photograph, signature, marksheets, and JEE scorecard as specified.
- No fee payment required. Simply submit the form before 18 June 2026 and save your application number.
